using Transparent GIF files
Is it possible for an image layer to take advantage of a transparent GIF's background? I am importing one but AS is giving it a white background. I am trying some cut-out type animation, and the pieces need to each have a clean border with no square background like in a picture.

i have a question about morph blending to see if I understand it. I am new to AS, so there might be other ways to accomplish this (easily) than morph blending, or perhaps blending is not capable of this. I am not good at drawing, which handicaps me as an animator. Being able to draw different views ...

Question about AS 6
Can anyone explain exactly what is "motion tracking" and "blend morph" in the new version? Are these two features not possible in 5.6? I don't really know what they are, but am thinking about upgrading.
I am too new to AS to properly understand their use.

I'm using 5.6 The cycle works fine, I'm just wondering if there is any tip or advice on how to quickly, when creating the cycle, make sure that the positioning of the animated components, whether it be translation, bones, etc, at the end of the cycle is the same as at the first. If you're off by jus...

Cycle stop keyframe identical to first
Hi, I have created a simple cube, and am rotating it continuously, on a cycle setting at the last keyframe. I would like to know how you can easily make sure that the cube's ending position at the last cycle keyframe is identical to the first keyframe, so it cycles smoothly. I tried the Reset featur...

rigging bones in an object drawn later in the timeline
i drew an object, but later in the timeline. so, i can't use the add bone tool, since the object was drawn at frame 0, from what i gather. is there a way to move this object back to the beginning so it is present at the frame 0 area for rigging. i can only draw the individual time line points back t...
