Thanks. The issue seems to be that I am rendering at 160 x 120 but the output is 320 x 240 so that's where the fuzziness comes in.

Don't know if there is a lower limit on output?

thank you for the help

thanks again for the replies. I think heyvern is correct - thank you

I set the project settings to 160 x 120 and export the animation but the resulting size is still 320 x 240 ? I thought the output size is taken from the project size or does that not make any difference ?

thanks

thanks for the replies. The image and animation is made completely inside AS which means that I would expect that if I change the project settings as per rplate then I should see no loss in quality. I do get a fuzzy image after export when I compare it to its full size export. I will post the two im...

render at half dimensions

I have an animation which I am exporting to a series of pngs. I would like to export it at half of its current size. I tick the render at half dimensions but the output pngs are fuzzy/jaggy when compared to the full size export If I change the project setting width and half to make it half the size ...

thanks for the replies - I will go and give that a try. @heyvern: it looks ok in AS but when you export the animation to a png sequence it reverts back to how it was rather than what you see in AS (try it out) <Edit> thanks that works fine and exports ok. Is there a way to constrain the rotation of ...

walk cycle in opposite direction

Hi, I created a walk-cycle from left to right and now I would like to have another one but this time right to left. The best way I can see to do this is to change the workspace orbit and that does seem to work. A couple of questions though: 1. Is this the best way to do this or is there another way?...

render not showing fill effects

Hi, just purchased Anime Studio and have started to work thru the tutorials. When I render I don't get to see the fill effects. So if I set up a gradient fill I don't see it. I guess its something I have not set or similar but having followed the tutes I can't see what I am doing wrong. Any help wou...
