Exact same experience using the patch layer. Are there people who can enlighten us about that persistent error? If that is not a bug, then what is that?

You can also "copy" key frames from the regular time line into an action this way. So if you have a cool set of key frames that you animated in the main time line and decide later you want them to "reuse" in an action you create an action and right click the "Mainline"...

This is a "redmatter", a variation from the commonly known "greymatter", but frankly, the drawing is good!
