Can reference layers be used to create symmetrical drawings?
Hi Is it possible to use reference layers in Anime studio 11 to create symmetrical images? For example would I be able to create a layer to hold the right side of my drawing then duplicate it as a reference layer, flip the reference layer horizontally and then use it for the left side of my drawing?...

Re: Does the Mirror Points Script work in 9.5 and up?
Thanks for your response. Unfortunately I still can't get the buttons working and it frustrates me to no end because it's not like the instructions you gave me are terribly complicated. I did notice one thing while installing them though so I thought I should mention it just in case it has any relev...

Re: Does the Mirror Points Script work in 9.5 and up?
So nobody knows? I would really appreciate it if someone with a little more experience installing scripts would have a quick go at installing them and tell me if they work, just so I can determine if it is something I am doing wrong or that the scripts just aren't compatible with my version(s) of An...

groups and transparency
Hi
I was just wondering if there is any way to make a group display as transparent in the viewport, I already have transparency ticked in the display options but it only seems to work with single layers not groups.

What is the most versatile way to rig/setup a character?
Looking at the sample characters that come included with Anime studio as well as a few other characters from Content paradise I've noticed that a lot of them are not actually rigged/setup very well for animation and by that I mean there are some very nice turn arounds containing tons of eyes and han...

Masking issues
Hi there I plan on using masking to add shadows to my character art but I've run into the problem pictured below where hidden lines seem to be showing up white http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii35/Overking1/MaskingIssue.png The method I've used is just the same as that used for image textures des...

Exporting in a scalable format
Can Anime Studio export an image in a scalable format other than SWF, one that could be opened in software like Photoshop?
I know that AS does have the ability to export as a PSD file but it's kind of important for my purposes that PS does the rasterising & not AS.

I'm not actually thinking in terms of animation, more along the lines of using bones to change the shape of a single vector image and then applying or copying the changes kinda like you would with say a ...envelope tool? or something similar maybe... don't know if i'm explaining this all too well :(...

Hi
Is it possible to rigg up a layer then manipulate it with bones and copy the result onto a vector layer without all the points reverting back to their original positions when you past them?
any help would be appreciated
