Re: Problems with alpha image
I never use PSD import in Moho, only PNG.

Re: Problems with alpha image
That PNG needs its alpha set to "do not pre-multiply", but that setting doesn't exist in PS or Moho. In TVPaint you have that option, I don't know about other programs.

Re: Let's talk about operation delays and lag again
I think I never had any negative keyframes, but in my longer scenes (over 20 sec) I noticed some lag sometimes when there were unintentional keys faaar away from the actual animation. Quite often I have something stay still or invisible for half a minute, then burst into action for some seconds, the...

Re: Adobe Animate is going end-of-life
This sounds like something somebody might already have scripted in Blender?

Re: Crayon texture tips
As a start you should open some of the brush bitmaps and study their properties. For a crayon effect I suggest to create something high-contrast. MAybe you could scan in some real crayons and work from that.

Re: Smear Brush
You could use the FBF feature or just create a single layer for 1 frame with Moho's brushes, but there's no way to automate this task in a reasonable way, it's drawing/painting by hand.

Re: Smear Brush
This basically cries for a hybrid approach: animate the scene in Moho, export the frames around the planned smear, do the smear in TVPaint (or whatever bitmap software you use), and import to Moho again. Just 1 frame.

Re: walk cycle, how do I add keys after the cycle without breaking it?
I know about the red timeline, but it needs too much concentration from me to not click the wrong keys, and even then it still happens. So I separate into partial rigs to make my life less stressful. Of course I only do that when needed: like a longer scene of someone walking and gesticulating.

Re: walk cycle, how do I add keys after the cycle without breaking it?
For this reason I often have a split rig: one bone layer for the legs and torso only, and one bone layer for arms and head movements.

Re: Animate layer release from bones
The duplication way is the one I use, mostly for props taken from/put down on something. Same for objects which get exchanged between characters.

Re: Sync or parent layers
AFAIK copying keyframes only works between layers of the same kind. If you put your image into a group/bone layer and move that, you should be able to copy these keyframes to another group/bone layer which holds the shadow vector layer.

Re: exporting colour effects
Oh yes, colours and contrast can look very different on different monitors/devices. First step is always to set them all to the same colour standard. Glad you're set up now! (I remember the worst client of the last years who complained about my colours being wrong, until I found out how he watched m...

Re: Pan and tilt head on same Character?
It worked for me. I followed this workflow:
- first I created the head turn from about 3/4 to 3/4, only with point animation, and making sure I moved the points only horizontally.
- then I created the tilt, not a big one, abou 20°, again with point motion, this time only vertically.
