Re: exporting colour effects

Oh yes, colours and contrast can look very different on different monitors/devices. First step is always to set them all to the same colour standard. Glad you're set up now! (I remember the worst client of the last years who complained about my colours being wrong, until I found out how he watched m...

Re: Pan and tilt head on same Character?

It worked for me. I followed this workflow:
- first I created the head turn from about 3/4 to 3/4, only with point animation, and making sure I moved the points only horizontally.
- then I created the tilt, not a big one, abou 20°, again with point motion, this time only vertically.

Happy 2026!

The traditional end-of-year film!
You'll notice there's no "happy" in there this time. To make 2026 happy, we need to do something!

I was expecting him to say something?

Anyway, nicely done, tasteful color palette, and I like that detail of the candle shadow moving!

Re: What are your wishes for 2026?

Oh, that's an easy one: Stop global warming. Arrest and prosecute all Nazis. Same with all dictators. Same with fossil industry. Tax all billionaires and millionaires. Ban LLMs, crypto, and other scams. End world hunger (remember, that needs only 47 billion $ per year, a Musk could do that for 20 ye...

Re: Brush stroke beginning fades

I have trouble following videos, they're generally too slow, but too fast in the details, I can't really see what's being clicked on the screen, and anything spoken is less effective than a text I can read. I know how much work it is to write a decent manual (been there), but I still prefer it ver a...

Re: Brush stroke beginning fades

Thx, I got a bit further. I was following the Manual and Tutorial pages, which are a bit confusing on this topic. 1. In the Manual, "Freehand" shows an old version of the freehand settings panel. This should be updated and explained. 2. In the Tutorial, "Point Colors" only explai...

Point animation vs. Bezier handles

I've found that constructing stuff with Bezier handles on, then animating points, leads to unintended effects, or more exactly: IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS! I was doing a mouth. In my usual workflow I'd have a shape, copy the point animation keys and paste them elsewhere, then go between these keys and adj...

Brush stroke beginning fades

I've noticed that each time I draw a stroke with the freehand tool and a brush is selected for the stroke, the beginning of that stroke starts transparent. While that looks nice in itself, I'd like to have control over this: - can I get Moho to start a brush stroke at 100% (right now the workaround ...

Re: El Monstero: Pink Floyd Tribute Concert

Looks like a decent enough job. Some shots are pretty effective: you saved on metamorphoses by clever cutting and staging (like Supergirl at the UFO: turnig the cupola to reveal the splattered goo, instead of animating the exploding alien!).

Re: Is there a way around this action problem?

No, sorry, i need to explain more in detail. My head setup is a bit convoluted, but I needed separate layers for some stuff because of masking and layer ordering. - head bone - - hair - - nose ( with animated line width) - - pupils - - mouth, eye (lid) (these masks pupils and maybe teeth/tongue) - -...

Re: Is there a way around this action problem?

Head turn, pupils v, pupils H, eyebrows are all different actions. I can easily combine smart bone animation with additional point or layer animation, no jumping around of elements here.

Re: Is there a way around this action problem?

Last time I used this my setup was like that: Both pupils on the same vector layer (and nothing else). 3 Actions (with smart bone): - head turn: pupils animated in point motion only. This allowed for perspective distortion in the extreme positions. - pupils vertically: pupil layer movement verticall...
