Thanks everybody! :D thatguy: All the layers are separate images (with the exception of the background). Process explained below. ingie01: I exported the individual layers from Artrage as separate PNG files. I then open them up in Gimp quickly to crop them down so they're not full-screen. When that'...

Ghostface - facial test

Hello again. I have no idea where I'm going with this, but I thought I'd share nonetheless. http://www.tomnauman.com/artwork/Ghostface.jpg Animated Version Here - QT 148k Just a test using PNG files for eye masking and some basic facial deformation. Someday I'll actually make something more than a t...

Just thought I'd throw this out there as well. There's some great storyboarding templates, as well as a slew of other references. Very, very handy for almost any graphic app. LINKAGE Go after the " sample background templates " (direct link to .zip file) since you need a registered copy of...

Kinda creepy, kinda cute?

Trying some masking and transparency effects. Not sure what the subject is actually supposed to be, but it's the result of an (way too) early morning doodle. (ArtRage + Moho) http://www.tomnauman.com/artwork/Floaty.jpg I actually bothered to animate the little floaty dude. HERE I can't decide weathe...

Mr. Lumpkin - UPDATE - File Included!

Very Nice! Audio and everything! I'd call that proof of concept. Well played. I didn't know that Moho could drop shadows off of transparent image layers! That'll come in handy. Moho developers = brilliant! 8) In Lumpkin Land: I've "finished" the rigging (at least as far as I'm likely to go...

DetoNaToR: I don't know for sure if you can do it with the free version, but the full version of Artrage allows you to use layers and export each layer as a separate image. If you use transparent layers [default] and save them individually as as .png files, you can drag the layers directly into Moho...

Thanks! All told, the charachter took a couple of hours. I'm still learning how to paint using Artrage, so it might have gone faster if I knew what was I was doing. Started as a doodle with no plan to make a poseable character - it just kind of turned out that way. All told, I think I'm going to hav...

Mr. Lumpkin- Update - File included!

Howdy. Mr. Lumpkin is a WIP character painted with Artrage and assembled in Moho. He's the guy down the street with the old rusty car and the unfriendly disposition. I'm still working on bones and switches for the mouth, but I think this one might actually come together! Right now, all the parts are...

Genius concept and excellent execution! I wish I'd thought of it! It's nice to see actual business models incorporating Moho. I have to admit that it's funny to think someone would choose the pirate theme for little "Angel". I'm a musician by trade, and only an animation hobbyist, so I'm c...

I was going to start my own thread, but this seems a good place to ask about a problem. Is it possible to exclude an outline from a mask? I have an eye shape using variable line widths, and use this to mask a pupil layer, but the pupil extends "over" the outline as well as the fill of the ...
