I've just installed the 11.1 update. This issue is still present for me. Would be lovely to get this fixed or any advise anyone might have on how to tweak settings to re-enable zooming by scrolling on macs using magic mice in version 11.
Many Thanks,
Matthew

Re: ASP11 Zooming Issues
Just to add my voice to this; I have also lost the ability to zoom in/out of the canvas by using the scrolling function on my magic mouse. I'm using a 2010 iMac 21". I have found that if I use a different bluetooth mouse with a scroll wheel, that works just fine to zoom in and out, so the probl...

Re: How does ASP compare to Flash
I just wanted to quickly chime in on this. Appreciate that flash has very little in the way of assistive tools for character animation,(no peg bar, no 'true' palettes, very quirky bone implementation) but for illustration and character / set design it is a very quick, extremely easy to learn (at lea...

SWF export / Vector export errors solution
Hi All, I'm just putting this up for anyone who has had any difficluty exporting anime studio files using the export / swf movie option from the export settings. There seems to be some illegal use of splines that can lead to anime ignoring/not rendering any layers where illegal spline operations hav...

Anime Studio 8 - Why to Upgrade
Long term User. I animate for a living, doing mostly corporate video with a little broadcast and web animation thrown in for good measure. I've used the trial of AS:8 and will probably upgrade for the following reasons: 1) single thread rendering 2) Morph Dials Scripts don't crash when rendering 3) ...

temporary fix till they post an update
Ok, so not really a fix, but certainly a get-around. I've installed crossover for mac, a very handy utility that lets you run windows software natively under osx without requriing a copy of windows or a crumy emulation mode window. It costs about 30 dollars or so I think, but allowed me to install t...

Thanks!
Matthew

possible mac work-around for crash on quicktime export
Hi to all the Mac users out there: Don't know if you've already tried this or not, but when I have an anime file that crashes on quicktime export, batch exporting the same file often works fine. Hope that helps! PS, is it common knowledge that pressing F5 does a half rez preview? A colleague stumble...
