RE: my workaround. So, to add an opacity holdframe (a keyframe where the opacity is the same at the frames before it) you could: 1.Go to the frame where you want the holdframe. 2. Open the Layer settings and CHANGE the opacity. This makes the opacity channel appear. 3. Open the Layer settings AGAIN ...
