EDIT: It seems like ctrl + r doesn't work on my version, but the ctrl + e works. Is is possible to update to the newest version for free?

I am a new user of Anime Studio 5 and need some help. I'm using the tutorials, but I've been tripped up in 1.2 because it tells you to click File>Render. This is supposed to show you your current project so far, but I can't find it anywhere on the Menu bar. I don't have Anime Studio Pro, however so ...
