My first 3D Marble Track Animation - looking for feedback
I'm starting to learn to work with animation in Blender now and this is my first actual project that I have completed. This took about 6 hours and there are two versions: Here is the first: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OovfqaX6rUs Here is the final version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wvxe_hYZu...

Yes to both questions and I have turned off my computer over the last 6 or 7 months that Anime Studio has been doing this. This is something I just did recently though it was a pain to do. I rendered all the frames as a .PNG (Generally what I have been doing since I can't render .AVI or export with ...

Have you tried exporting a .png sequence, and then re-combining this with the original soundtrack in a video editor? For a while I used to. I would render a bunch of .PNGs to a folder. Then I would open up Blender and export them together as a .AVI in HD. After that, it was just the problem of Audi...

Cannot Export .AVI or video with sound
First of all, I have to say that I like Anime Studio because of it's flexibility and features. I've used it for quite some time now and I've learned to use almost all the tools however, I haven't been able to use this program to it's full potential because exporting in .AVI and exporting with sound ...

Exporting .avi
I've had this problem before but it came back and I can't fix it. I need to export a video in .avi but Anime Studio does the "save as" thing and when I click save, the render screen pops up and goes away after a second. It doesn't give me the "select codec" option or anything. it...

You could have a simple 2D proxy as a background of your 3D scene, and animate over it in AS. Then just render your characters with alpha and import into Blender. But when you talk about interacting with the 3D scene, you're opening up a can of 3D worms. Maybe your questions would be best answered ...

shading on 3D models?
Is it possible to import a 3D model and have Anime Studio add shading to it?
If not then is there a way to add a light source to get the same effect?
I would use Blender to animate but Blender is very difficult to animate with.
