Re: GIF Transparency

PNGs don't animate though. I'm looking for a way to create an animated image at PNG quality (with regards to transparency). Seems it isn't possible, even in 2013. Kinda depressing.

Re: GIF Transparency

Thanks, I've been using Photoshop already. Exporting from AnimeStudio as png, and then exporting from Photoshop as a GIF.

Here it is with pattern dithering... I might be doing it wrong...

GIF Transparency

Hey all. I've been using Anime Studio for a couple of years now and absolutely love it. I'm currently working on a small project for my MMO guild for the upcoming Elder Scrolls Online, a guild signature with animation. The idea being to give the signature a little bit of life. No problems animating!...

Haha, sorry. Hmmm, let's see... I have a layer called 'Water 1'. I animated the layer through the translate layer tool, and through use of opacity variations. I ensured the layer works on a loop, ending up at the same opacity and placement in the last frame as it is in frame 1. I've now duplicated t...

Move all frames within a layer together

I'm animating a waterfall, and have animated one section of water cascading down. What I want to do is duplicate that layer (which also duplicates the animations and frames associated with it) and then move it further along the waterfall - so I have two cascading water animations. I want to do that ...

those important files should be backed up on CD/DVD, especially if there are originals of softwares you bought, this is common sense! ;) You're right, it is common sense! That comment jogged my memory, and I checked a folder of important backups I'd copied over to my new PC and found a setup execut...

Installing on a new computer

I've just bought a new computer (finally have Windows 7 instead of Vista!) and I now have two issues: 1) I've used the order finder to locate my order of Anime Studio Pro 7 for re-download, but after clicking the download button I get an error message saying it was only available for download 30 day...

Import Multiple Images

I ran a search before starting a new topic and found this from 2005: http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1373&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=batch+import&start=0 That was the only mention of importing multiple images together that I could find. Has the feature been im...

I'm assuming you know that there is a script for automatically exporting Photoshop layers to an Anime Studio file? Nope, I had no idea. I've only just heard about Anime Studio and am assessing whether it's the program I'm looking for! Funksmaname: So importing a typical piece of artwork from Photos...

Thanks for the replies, that's great news! I'm a big Photoshop user, using an Intuos 3 for all my work. Would it be simple to draw everything in Photoshop and import it to Anime Studio for animation? I'm assuming the drawing tools in Anime Studio aren't as flexible as Photoshop's, but I could be wro...

Bone Movements Question

I'm creating a 2D Action-RPG and will soon require a program to help with character animation. Anime Studio caught my eye with its bone mechanics, but I'm wondering if it can do what I'm after. Since the main character will go through various clothing and armour changes, will I be able to create a b...
