Note that when you launch a render job from command line, Moho apparently uses ALL the available cores.
(tested on a 16 cores / 32 threads Xeon)

JS / WebGL Api for realtime use
Moho files would lend themselves greatly as assets for web-based games. Seeing that Moho is able to render characters in realtime for preiew, it would be tremendously useful to be able to have access to the same functionality in one's own software, such as for example what you can see here: http://c...

Character assembling and Animation job
Hi, we are looking for an Anime Studio expert to assemble and animate characters from a set of provided parts in PNG format (faces, torsos, legs, arms, mouths hands and eyes with multiple frames, etc.) we have hundreds of parts but we are looking to build 4-5 "templates" (adult male, child...

Rendering threads
Following up a post I made in the general forum... Full multithreaded rendering support! Right now AS seems to support 4 render threads at the most. This is quite a letdown for serious workstation, where a quad core cpu is the norm, virtually allowing 8 virtual cores with hyperthreading enabled. 6 p...

Rendering threads
Hi,
I am currently using a dual-xeon machine, with a total of 12 physical cpu cores. Although "multithread rendering" is enabled, AnimeStudio (version 8.0) seems to use only 4 of them.
Is there any way to raise that?
Thanks in advance,
r.

Unfortunately you can't send parameters like that via the command line renderer. Sure would be nice though if you could specify to only render certain layers or certain actions. And, from a coder's point of view - I am reasonably sure that both things would be extremely easy to implement. Selective...

Thanks for the Key Skeleton script, neeters_guy! It works almost flawlessly. There's just one thing left out from it as far as I tested it for now: layer translation, which doesn't get keyed (at least in AS 7) I may have a Python script laying around that may give you a hand to do what you want. It ...

One command line render and one keyframe question
Hello, I am using Anime Studio to create various frame sequences for an animated character to be used elsewhere. Thus, I have several separate actions. Now, I'd need to render such actions from command line in some way, but for now I'm able only to render the mainline. Is there some way to specify t...
