IOW if you have a bunch of bones that are cycled for the walk, DON'T key those beyond the cycle (unless you want them to stop) but you CAN key anything else.

Is it just one file that causes problems or is it everything? If it's everything, I'd look at custom scripts in general and layer scripts specifically. Do you have any of these?

BTW, I wondered if the Rescale Keyframes... command could be used like the Reverse Keyframes tool mentioned above, but it made a mess when I tried to invert a frame range.
