Thanks, guys. I played with it some more. I thought Save as Default would not save the number of GIF colors, but it seems now like it does.
Cheers, Richard

Change Default GIF Options
I'll be making a bunch of GIFs and I want them to all be 256 colors. The default is 16. Is there something I can edit to change that default to 256?
Thanks, Richard

Re: Broken Layer references Cure
Could you explain the steps to reproduce your problem or post a file to check it? Also, what version of Moho/Anime Studio are you using? This was six months ago with whatever version was current at the time (11?). There were no steps required -- happened just about every time I opened the file. I d...

Re: Does GPU acceleration matter?
Dang. So I did the test of The Quick and the Dead earlier in this thread. Now, when I go back to a file that used to play perfectly, it plays at about 2/3 speed. Major disappointment! I don't know if I changed some obscure setting, or what. My system and video card are both high-end, but just loadin...

Re: Moho 12 New Feature Intros... (3 videos)
If you create a reference of your original guide mesh, then triangulate the child and make that the controller, you can then animate the original layer without all the triangular clutter: This will certainly be easier to understand when I can play with the software, but I think I understand everyth...

Re: Does GPU acceleration matter?
For the Quick and the Dead I measured 20.04 sec with a stopwatch. So it sounds like it's having no problem rendering in real time.

Re: Does GPU acceleration matter?
I'd be glad to answer any questions I can about the GTX 1070. I'm not sure about masking previews. If someone wants to give me a link to a file I will open it and make a screengrab if that would help. In general, everything does seem to work more smoothly. My previous card was a GTX 770. In a benchm...

I wanna go fast!
It just seems a potential resource is going to waste. For that matter, I'd love to run a render farm with all my computers working together.

Re: Does GPU acceleration matter?
Bummer. But thanks for the info. I wonder if SM will beef up the rendering engine anytime soon.

Does GPU acceleration matter?
I just upgraded from a GTX 770 to a GTX 1070. Benchmark scores are about double for fps. However ... in ASP (latest version fully updated) on my Win10-64 Pro (fully updated) my time to render 3,600 frames to PNG was unchanged at 30 minutes for both the old card and the new card. I have GPU accelerat...

You can also render to a series of PNG files which produces high quality output with alpha channel. Many video editors can import that format and render. MP4 or whatever you want.

Re: Script for lip sync I'm working on
Just reloaded the latest version 3 and here are some specifics for the result. I open the dialog box. Type something into Text String and hit cancel. It cancels. I open the dialog box, type something into Text String and hit OK, it executes as desired. Then I open the dialog box again. Text String i...

Re: Script for lip sync I'm working on
I'm Win10 as well. So cancel works for you when there's something in Text String? I just confirmed again that it does not work for me.
As for the focus, I've learned that I can hit the tab key three times and I'm right where I need to be. FWIW.

Re: Script for lip sync I'm working on
Strider. I've been using your script, and have two suggestions. When I drag across the image, and the Lip Sync Dialog Box shows up, it would be great if the contents of Text String were already the focus and highlighted. Then I could just start typing to enter the next string. Also, if I cancel out ...
