Re: Text and/or Switch file Bug in ASP9?
...it might even be a problem with using quotation marks in the text ballons?
(I'm missing the older version usage of text... never had problems with that.)
edit... seems that using quotation marks is the culprit...

Text and/or Switch file Bug in ASP9?
Has anyone else experienced a problem with using text (cartoon balloons) in ASP9 in switch files? I "seem" to be finding that when I get to a certain number in a switch file... I save, exit, then try to pull the file up again, and the file is unrecognizable... sometimes I've gotten an erro...

Re: Eye movement in Character Wizard
Hi Vinny... Yeah, Madriver is right... "rtfm" is a great place to start. "Switch Layers" starts on page 274 for AS8 (I'm assuming it is AS 8 since you mention character wizard.) Feel free to post questions if there is something in the manual that you don't understand. (Layer type...

Re: Eye movement in Character Wizard
I believe the eyes (Eye L and Eye R) are switch files, so you select which position you want by rt-clicking "Look Left" or whichever you want... I believe it is set up so you have to work the eye switches individually.

jonbo and kkrawal... Thanks! I tried the plugin jonbo mentioned for Sketchup (ver 8 )- I made a simple shape with SU, exported it, and loaded it into AS8. ...And everything seems to work just fine through every step. I'm excited to try this all out. I'm not familiar at all with Blender... but I went...

Is there a program that converts Sketchup to Obj?
I saw this question asked a couple years ago, but it got no response. I know that sketchup will save as obj if you upgrade to their pro version (like $500... my wife would kill me!)... I can't really justify that expenditure for what for me is a hobby. I know Babel used to convert sketchup files to ...

Thanks Slotiger... you're always helpful! Might not be what you're looking for but I always liked speed lines to show this effect. I don't know if you downloaded these when you bought AS8 but you can still download the bonus content which is a bunch of different speed lines types. Here's the link if...

Blurred, High-speedy Backgrounds?
I thought I had come across a tutorial in these forums for making a (easy?) blurry background that looks like a lot speed is taking place (for 5 to 10 seconds). ...maybe even something like "hyper-space"? ...but I'm not finding it... Can anyone teach me to do that in AS? (I have Anime Stud...
