The same thing happens when I import into a new document (both on my animating computer and another computer).

Yup, I've tried doing a batch import (dragging them from the folder), I've tried dragging them across individually and in small groups and importing via File - Import - Images.

Don't remember if I mentioned this before, I've tried the same processes and the same import methods using GIFs and PSDs.

That file structure is pretty similar to what I have already, I just lifted my .anme files from their folder and put them into the main folder. The files are in the same folder they were created in (ie, they haven't been moved). I followed your suggestion anyway, but it didn't work. Any other suggestions? Am getting desperate, need to finish this animation for an assessment next week! Cheers
