Again thanks so much. I can't tell you how helpful the videos are. I'm working on animating Poe's "The Raven". The main character is quite realistic looking and I want to do try to use the dials for 3/4 head turns and look up/ down...so forth. Looks like I'm gonna be up all night with this!

basically Im trying to make a head rig that contains several layers (ear1, ear 2, eye 1, eye 2, nose, face, etc. do I need a separate Morphdial layer for each item?

do the morphdials work for switch layers? I have a switch layer with 3 different eye positions. each position contains 3 sub layers. is it possible to control them all with one bone?

Thank you for the link , however I am a Mac user and I cannot play .wmv files on my computer. I converted it to a format I can watch but there was no video, only sound. Your explanaition makes a good argument for using Morphdilas... I WILL figure this out!!!

in regards to the Morphdials, isnt it just easier to use the blend morphs sliders instead? maybe I am missing a key benefit since Im having such a hard time figuring out how to use it.
