Re: Crashes when selecting layer with opt R-Click
I'm not on a Mac, but wondering, does it do this in every project? Try starting a new project, and make several layers, each with a shape you can select. If it doesn't crash, I suspect something about the project file that does crash. The first thing I would check is negative keyframes using Syntsin...

Re: Complex Fill
I'm not aware of a limit, but you might consider simplifying the shape structure within the path. This doesn't mean simplifying the drawing, rather it means breaking the complex paths into multiple shapes that still render as a 'single shape'. When a shape gets this complex, you're likely to see ren...

Re: Temporarily parent bone then remove parenting
Ah! The script was probably this one...
MR Track Bone
This script has been super useful when I needed it.
However, if I can get away with it, most of the time I'll just use the visibility trick or Reference copy trick because it's more direct and doesn't need a script.

Re: Temporarily parent bone then remove parenting
Bones can only be parented to other bones in the same bone layer. So, the arrow (parented to its own bone) would need to be in the same bone layer as the character. This is typical when the character needs to handle the parented item, and if you need to parent/unparent during the animation. During a...

Re: Temporarily parent bone then remove parenting
I would keep it simple by creating a second arrow and setting its visibility to OFF. When the first arrow that's bound to the character is 'released', set its visibility OFF. Then enable the visibility of the second to arrow to ON, and animate it moving forward. Since it's not parented to anything, ...

Re: Does Anyone here who do Animation channel get this same issue?
I watched a video a few days ago on a related topic. The video creator said the situation was very frustrating and claimed they didn't think their video or channel was being reviewed by a human because the decision didn't make any sense. By the end of the video, the situation remained unresolved, bu...

Re: MR Transform Rig Tool 2.0 BETA 14
Hi Eugene! I'm using MR Transform Rig to duplicate and mirror a fairly complex arm setup in a character. The tool worked perfectly for the duplicate part, and it renamed the bones, artwork, and actions perfectly. Physically mirroring the duplicate arm was problematic. Moho crashed whenever I clicked...

Re: Project presets
I agree. Project Settings has a 'Custom' option, but it doesn't create presets. So, instead, I create templates with different project settings. For example... https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/h2g4iqfyv1i5802f3eqe7/TemplateMenu.png?rlkey=jxg14x61lxgxrws3m3odo8nos&raw=1 To do this, I save the custo...

Re: Referencing Behaviour of Styles (in Context of Characters)...
It's not really a conflict because the point of the override is to replace the setting from the Custom Style. This can be color and/or line thickness. It's useful when you only wish to use some aspects of a Custom Style, and not the whole Style. To see the full application of the Custom Style on the...

Re: Referencing Behaviour of Styles (in Context of Characters)...
Ok, I ran a quick test, and importing with Unlink Shared Styles enabled does work in Moho 14.4. The test: I made a circle with a custom Style that used crazy colors, a star brush, and extra wide thickness to make it obvious, and I named the custom Style 'Blarp' to make it even more obvious. After im...

Re: Referencing Behaviour of Styles (in Context of Characters)...
That said, I really hope a future version of Moho allows us to at least see the Style IDs in the Styles Windows, if not change them.
This would remove any doubt, and it could have saved me a lot of trouble when I first ran into this issue many years ago.

Re: Referencing Behaviour of Styles (in Context of Characters)...
Hi martin_mrt, Importing with Unlink Shared Styles enabled should work, but it does so only when it detects a conflict with what already exists in the project. So, the trick is to import the project into itself. When Moho detects that the character (or rather those same styles) already exists, it wi...
