Re: are there alternatives to papagayo?
I'm running Papagayo on my MacBook Air, running Moutain Lion (believe it or not); you can get it working if you download the last Windows build and use Wineskin Winery to create a wrapper.

Re: Pouring water from a pan?
Hey, thank you for the response. Really appreciate that. Never thought about using particles although I did use them in my clip to stimulate steam; tend to use particles for small aggregates of macroscopic things, like crowds of people as it's not so processor intensive. Am probably going to stick w...

Pouring water from a pan?
I was wondering if some of you had some any suggestions as to how to go about animating water being poured out of a pot into a character's mouth? Have been heavily using Anime Studio, both personally and semi-professionally now for 7 months and am looking to improve my skills and understanding the p...

Re: Cannot use Physics enabled group with Switch layers?
Ramon! You are the man! Thank you so very much! Worked exactly like you said! I wish this forum had an iPhone app. Hi, just add some bones to the Switch Layer and, if necessary, bind them to points accordingly to your needs. They should react to physics and, therefore, the affected vector points. Ju...

Cannot use Physics enabled group with Switch layers?
It seems that you cannot apply the physics engine to groups which contain switch layers? Seriously? All I'm trying to do is get a switch layer of mouths to fall into a container and bounce around. But when I press play, the mouth stays in position seemingly invariant to the physics engine. Any ideas?...

Re: UPGRADE PRICE FOR PRO REASONABLE?
Yes, but I'm still experiencing regular crashes. On average, if I work 15 minutes I'm guarenteed 1-3 crashes. And my Macbook is barely a year old.   Yep, the reason why most of my friends have given up on Mac's and made the switch to the PC. :D :D :D Thanks for your response. I have...

Re: UPGRADE PRICE FOR PRO REASONABLE?
Version 9 is seems a bit more unstable than 8.2 BUT ... I'm running it on a 2011 Macbook Air, 4GB ram. I'm starting to think that my crashes are more of a result of running out of video memory than coding.

Re: problems with bones
After you create your smart bone action, do you double click on the 'Mainline' heading? I'm also assuming that the name of the bone which you are wishing to control shares the identical name of the action?
