Somebody called HulluMel has uploaded a video tutorial to Youtube for OpenToonz.
Which is very helpful as it's for this version of OpenToonz which has just been released.
And another one uploaded by BooneBum,

Re: TOONZ GOES OPEN SOURCE
There is hardly any support or tutorials for this online is there? Which is a real shame because I've had a look at it and I haven't got a bloody clue if I'm honest. There are some pdf files in English here which offer some help. http://www.toonz.com/htm/support/suppw.htm But there is very little tu...

Re: 2.5D Walk Cycle Tutorial
Thanks. This is fantastic. :D I'll spend some time later on with the video to decipher the process. If you would like an English audio narration over the top of it, then I'm sure that somebody who understands the process could help you out. But anyway, no audio is better than nothing at all. As long...

Re: Is there a way to import images to timeline by number or
Wow. I'd forgotten about that script. And I think I did write it to import PAP animations. Hi, thanks for writing it. It's great. So useful. It's perfect for sketching out animation timings in PAP and then importing the keyframes into a background layer in Anime Studio to create the final animation...

Re: Is there a way to import images to timeline by number or
Thanks, I've just found a script on AnimatorsForum called 'syn_image_sequence' which seems to do what I require and works quite well. The keyframes are placed exactly where they should be on the timeline. If anyone else would also like to load in a sequence of keyframes on the timeline as switch lay...

Re: Is there a way to import images to timeline by number or
Thanks for the reply slowtiger, but it doesn't work. I wasn't sure it would work, and it didn't. You don't seem to be able to have gaps between frames. You have to have them go from frame 1 onwards with no missing frames. I only want the keyframes loaded in. Such as 'image_001.png', 'image_079.png' ...

Is there a way to import images to timeline by number order?
Does anybody know if there is a technique to automatically load in images that appear on the timeline as switch layers on the same frame number as they are numbered? The reason I ask is that some people will probably create a rough animatic in some other software, and rather than needing every singl...

Re: WEBINAR: Creating Animations in ASP 11 with Selgin
Can somebody tell me what the second piece of software Selgin mentioned that he said he used for composting animation scenes together?
I heard him mention Premiere, but I couldn't quite hear what that second piece of software he mentioned was.

Re: simple learning game creation
Thanks to all of you. Game creation with Construct would be a big step up from this little project , but I'll look into it. Victor Paredes always comes up with new possibilities. The main question seems to be how to export to a cross-platform format. Either something kids can download as an exe fil...

Re: simple learning game creation
I'd recommend having a look at Construct 2. There's a free version and it exports to HTML5. Have a look at this thread where Víctor Paredes (Selgin) has exported some animations in image format and got them moving around in Construct 2 a short while after trying out the program... http://www.lostmar...

Re: Skeletal fbf of character on 2's then 1's
Use both if you want and mix them both in the same animation.
Use 2s for slower parts of the animation and use 1s for the snappier bits.

Re: WEBINAR: An Overview of frame-by-frame animation in ASP
Is there a hotkey to add each new frame?
It seems that it would be less cumbersome and quicker if I could just press a hotkey to add a frame.

That looks like a fantastic way to create water ripples in a river or lake.
Which is what my eye saw first.
