I'm mistaken. Layers & objects can be added on any frame.
Edited (March 2nd 2014) synthsin75 brought to my attention that with a simple tweak in Anime Studio's Preferences, unchecking "Enable drawing tools only on frame 0" , you can add layers and objects on any frame in the timeline. If for some reason you need to go to frame 0, but then return ...

Re: Anime Studio 10
Is there still time to add warping to texture filled objects, to wear the texture would warp as you adjust an objects shape?
Anime Studio has everything else.
It would be great if it had this feature!

Re: Warping images in a vector layer background, object text
Yes it would be nice to have both options, specially for an object with an image texture. Presently texture filled objects are primitive in Anime Studio and in all other 2d animation programs, because they hide the texture when the oject is reshaped, acting like an image mask. Would be great if AS c...

Re: Could an image be warped without bones?
Warping images, not morphing, would attract tons of users. The drawing tools are there, just all that would need to be done is to give it warping ability once an image is imported into a vector layer as a background or object texture. You could also do traditional morphing with this even though it's...

Warping images in a vector layer background, object texture.
Just curious, but is there any other way to warp an image without the use of bones in AS?
Warping an image in a vector layer as a background or object texture would be nice.

Re: Idea for an image copy, paste and erase lua script.
Masking did the trick! The lasers now look like they're passing behind objects within my son's stop motion sequence. I've learned masking in Anime Studio from these YouTube videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b29hvORO6SY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjdB0AiVTac I'm gonna still play with lua scr...

Re: Idea for an image copy, paste and erase lua script.
Hi hayasidist, Yeah, I should've mentioned it's a stop action image sequence, but synthsin75's script to launch Photoshop has helped me out. Once I have the image in Photoshop, I place it on top of a transparent layer, erase where needed, then I save it as a png and load it into another image layer ...

Re: Idea for an image copy, paste and erase lua script.
I've experimented a little more with Anime Studio, and it does correctly size the edited selected area of an image from Photoshop, but the location of it is way off when it's imported since it's not a copy of the entire image but a small area of it. Not sure what you mean? Are you "cropping&qu...

Re: Idea for an image copy, paste and erase lua script.
heyvern, how about copying a select area of an image within AS, then export it to Photoshop. While AS exports to Photoshop, it remembers the coordinates of where the image was copied and creates a layer exactly the same size of the copied image and places it over that area. Once the image is ready i...

Idea for an image copy, paste and erase lua script.
Lets say you're adding lasers to an image sequence, but the lasers need to pass behind an object in the image. Presently what I do is I open the image within Photoshop , copy the area that needs to be placed on top of the laser, erase areas of the copied image to transparent, save, then load that im...

Re: Need help with lua script to start Photoshop.
Hi synthsin75, I've updated the script again since I noticed it referenced another by mistake, but it only works partially. When I start the script after selecting an image all I get is a pop-up stating "Press 'OK' to reload image when you'e done", but Photoshop still doesn't start. I hope...

Need help with lua script to start Photoshop.
I've been lurking this forum for ages, and it's really been helpful. Anyway I found a script to launch Gimp, but I haven't been able to get it to work with good old Photoshop Elements 5.0, and would really appreciate some help with this. Here's what I've have: -- ************************************...
