Re: Updating to Mac Catalina OS
Thanks for your responses! Yeah, I have no idea how to fix this or if this is somehow user error. There is no checkbox for alpha channel in Moho like C4D, so it's all automated. It used to work flawlessly. I export, Quicktime 4444 and it creates a video file just fine. When I bring it into After Eff...

Pro res export (4444) with alpha stopped working for me in Catalina. Is it the same for you?

Anime Studio Idea 3: Keyframe Editing
First new video in a while talking about how ASP hides keyframes to reduce clutter and how to use selections to reveal them for editing. I also compare ASP to After Effects to show you how awesome ASP's timeline really is. Hope this is helpful to you!

Nicely done funksmaname! That last one you did is really great, I love how you came up with a good solution and improved upon it. Now we just need a one button solution for this in the next update right ;) Thanks so much for taking on this challenge, I'm going to try out the methods that both you an...

Can you make a tattooed noodle arm?
I posed this question to the Anime Studio Pros Facebook page and am curious of anyone else may have a solution: Problem: I would like to have the noodle arm on the left that is using point binding but with a bitmap (.psd) file that is bound to the arm, like a tattoo. The closest I could get was usin...

I hope this is a helpful resource for you when you either begin lip sync trials or are looking for new/interesting lip sync methods. Re: Workflow Basics: Character Animation: Ep. 1
Man, these are great. I loved some of the other stuff on your channel, I sensed some of the animations were also animated in After effects, or is that just for post and finishing? I thought I was looking at Duik type IK on the dancing dude, or was that also Anime Studio? Anyway, I'll be watching. Y...

Re: Workflow Basics: Character Animation: Ep. 1
@synthsin75 Couple of reasons for not drawing in AS: 1. It's just a personal preference but more geared toward a professional workflow. If another artist or client wants the character artwork to make posters or other materials, you can't give them an Anime Studio file as easily as an Illustrator fil...

Thanks for watching and taking time to write some feedback on what's working and what can improve. Very happy they come across as easy to understand and simple to accomplish. Frame zero definitely needs some special attention, that's a great call!

Workflow Basics: Character Animation: Ep. 1
Hey all, I made a series of tutorials on how to get started with Anime Studio. My workflow goes from paper to Adobe Illustrator to Anime studio. I cover layers, rigging, and animation in 3 short episodes. The goal here is to make it quick and clear to get from an idea to an animation. Check 'em out ...

Re: Prevent Quicktime from Auto Converting
Thanks for your reply to my question. I'm still stumped however.
I'd like OSX to do nothing when my file is done exporting from Anime Studio. No auto conversion, no opening in any program whatsoever. Any ideas out there?

Prevent Quicktime from Auto Converting
Hey all, I can't figure this out: I export a video file (quicktime, m4v, h.264) and my Mavericks OSX opens the file and/or auto converts it with whatever program that is setup. This could be quicktime to iTunes. This has to be an Anime Studio thing. I know you can prevent Safari from auto opening an...
