Re: Pixel Trouble
The guys above me are incorrect, but I assume this post was created in regards to an earlier Anime Studio version. But if you're up to date somewhere, you don't have to manually scale in some editing software nor do you have to zoom in or out with your camera. Just double click the image layer, go t...

Re: How do I detach an object from a character's hand?
I'm not sure if I properly followed your steps, but I think I managed to make a visual appearance of the gun being kicked out the hand. Thanks for your help.

How do I detach an object from a character's hand?
I hope I'm not posting a file that's too inappropriate for this forum. So I've been wanting to be able to make a character "let go" of a held object. In this instance, I've created a scene where one character kicks a weapon out of another character's hand and the weapon should be sent flyi...

Re: Of the two characters, only one can turn their head...
On the GJ character, you have a bone on the 'mouth' switch layer. Any bone in a sublayer will interrupt nested bone control from higher layers. So your HT smart bone cannot influence the switch's sublayers. Just delete that bone on the 'mouth' switch (or better yet, cut/paste it to the main bone la...

Of the two characters, only one can turn their head...
I have spent hours, ripping my hair off my scalp, trying to figure out how it's possible for one character to be able to turn her whole head while the other character can't. There are too many steps to head back to that would help me understand where I went wrong. If anybody can help me solve the is...

Re: png image moves a bit when rendered
Yeah, I think your problem is that you are using a very small image. Since you didn't provide the one you are using, I searched google for one with that file name. What I found is 150x150, but even with that small of image, the layer in your file is scaled up quite a lot. So I can only assume your ...

Re: png image moves a bit when rendered
Image dimensions is its size in pixels. "File Info" should give you the numbers. Have you checked the Z value of that image layer? It should be 0. I'm lost at the "File Info" part as I can't figure out where that's located. And I looked at the Z and it seems like it has always b...

png image moves a bit when rendered
I do not understand the point of png images moving around, or any format of images for that matter. My only guess is that it's so that it reduces lag but I don't know. How do I make it so that it doesn't move slightly up-left when rendered? How it's supposed to look: http://i.imgur.com/BOgQNx7.jpg H...

AS10 window keeps being inactive when I press ctrl+Z
It's really annoying me. Whether I'm in windowed or full screen mode, the program apparently turns into an inactive window, making things frustrating as I cannot use the undo or redo action more than once without clicking myself back into the window each time. I'm sure this is some kind of glitch th...

Re: how to duplicate a head_turn action for the other side
I'm almost able to follow this instruction, but I'm just troubled about the last step which is the flipping of the layer. How do I flip the layer?

Re: Head Turns Too Quickly Before Mouth Moves
(am I missing something blindingly obvious here??) Yeah. It has nothing to do with how I render the video. It's with the fact that the head won't move "while" the mouth move. The head moves quick "before" the mouth moves and that's not at all what I want. The subject is about ke...

Re: Head Turns Too Quickly Before Mouth Moves
Now I see... I just realized that the video I just sent you isn't rendering as it shows when running the animation in AS. The first turn I did should have rendered at a full side view for a could of seconds but it somehow snaps back to the original position when its rendered. Yeah, that's the probl...

Head Turns Too Quickly Before Mouth Moves
I have never been able to solve this situation where I want the head to move slowly while the mouth moves. I'd like to be able to smooth that out but I am unsure how I am to get around that. The head turns too fast but the mouth is in motion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzV4yEE4l_A&ab_channe...
