Hi folks. If you import a character into AI Pro 10 is it mandatory to trace it and create a vector version of it to make use of point binding, etc?

Thanks for responding :) I think I needed to bind the bones to the layers, which I am now experimenting with and it seems to work better. I am trying to make a simple walking animation (nothing complex, using one bone for each leg). After being able to manipulating the leg bones for a natural first ...
