Well I'm here with the same problem... I believe I came in on Moho at v3?? Anyway I tried my original serial AND I've tried the V5 serial and no joy, the site tells me it is an invalid serial number. Frankly, I'm glad I just happened to wander by the site cause I wouldn't have even known all of this...

Well actually now that Adobe has taken over Macromedia assets, AfterEffects 7 is supposed to work very well with SWF files - of course the PRICE may be way above what you wanted to pay but it is possible to load, animate and export SWF files...

Yes, I'd like to see richer gradients also but my main wish to compliment springy secondary animation is springy (softbody) collisions ; one object being able to bounce off another. Typically you create an AVI or MOV and then you create MPEG formats importing those files into an external encoder (especially if you want high-quality MPEGs)

TmpgEnc is good for MPEG1 & 2, not sure about MPG4 (Divx et al, and others perhaps)

It's best to think of MPEG as a terminal format - in other words as the final output format ready for burning to glass or playback. If you need to render and >add addition passes<, it's best to use either a lossless or very high quality lossy format. Huffy is a good intermediate lossless format, so ...

It should be okay to create a seamless body - you just have to remember to create a closed shape - if it's not closed, it won't fill or fill properly...
