Re: Graphic Card will help?
I wasn't sure so I searched the forum and found this topic . from the (ASP11) manual: (main window display quality) (p179) "GPU Acceleration: Check this option to enable GPU acceleration; uncheck to disable it. GPU Acceleration improves the display of image and vector layers. An OpenGL-compatib...

Re: Motivation
This has been around a while, but I love this panel talk by Ralph Bakshi at ComiCon 2008. The interviewer asks Bakshi how he survived the collapse of the animation industry in the late 60s and his advice is a kick in the pants for animators even today. I love it when he says, "Entire studios a...

Thank you for the feedbackGreenlaw wrote:Coincidentally, I had to install 9.5 on my Wacom this morning. It has the same UI scaling issue on this tablet computer as AS 10 and AS 11 has, but otherwise 9.5 seems to function as well as it did in Windows 7.

Re: Windows 10??
Curious if anyone has tried ASP 9.5 on Windows 10? Know most people have moved on to ASP 10 and 11 but I'm cheap.

Is anyone currently using ASP with Linux?
I understand it's no longer supported but is anyone using it with Wine or under a virtual machine? The reports on WineHQ are old and don't seem to be very promising.

Re: Importing from Paint Shop Pro
Bear with me I am typing this from my mobile. I haven't used paint shop pro years but if you can export .SVG I know that ASP will import it to some degree with the vector angles a bit different. Your best bet may be to export as a layered PSD, it'll be a raster but in my opinion its easier than redr...

Re: Anyone Able To Take Time To Help Me?
Damn you're helping me a lot, thanks for all the support ! Also, lets say I draw it on paper, what do I do to get it to the computer, do I take a pic with my cell phone ? lol The are cell phone scanner apps but the most efficient way would be to use a flatbed scanner. Getting a cell phone one right...

Re: Windows 10??
I'm sticking with Windows 8.1 because I fear ASP 9.5 and many other older applications not working. However I'd still like to know if older versions will work on it because I'm sure we'll be forced to upgrade to Win10 at some point.

Re: Help me, I am 100% new to digital work
Hi there, Lots of good advice here but I thought I'd share my experience. Many Anime Studio users recommend drawing characters and scenes using the vector tools for maximum control when animating. While Anime Studio might excel in this style of art, personally I've never been a fan of vectors. They ...

Re: How long have you been animating?:D
I started out like many kids do: with flipbooks on post-its, corners of notebooks, whatever I could find. I wasn't very good at it since I'd run out of paper sooner than I'd run out of ideas. I also made little comic strips that were terrible, but I was younger so it was all good fun. A few years pa...

Re: Tips for the BEST Teamwork Ever!
I animate solo mostly because as a hobbyist I can't afford a team. Some useful tips here but I do think that's the beauty of Anime Studio though is it's versatile enough for teams and individuals.
