Once upon a time you used to be able to simply place all of your images into the same directory as your Moho file and then Moho would default the path to the image locally in the same directory if it could not resolve the original path to the image. This function seems to have been removed recently....

Frame labels and/or comments in the timeline
It would be very useful on large projects to have the ability to assign/attach a label or comment text in the timeline to assist in navigating long animations. Similar to how video editing applications and Flash work.

Preview frame rate exceeds project settings
When previewing a project in Moho with ALLOW FRAME SKIPPING activated the frame rate of the preview is able to exceed the frame rate set in the project settings. Ideally, if you have a project frame rate of 25 fps then the preview should never exceed 25 fps.

Sounds like a lot of messing about - why don't you simply use Magpie Pro to create a .dat file and attach it to a switch layer containing your mouth shapes in Moho? Works for me. Not everyone has $250 for a lip-sync program. Fair enough .... but what is your time worth? The methods you have describ...

Hi 7feet. Yeah, I know all about actions but they dont provide the same type of ability as I am describing. Actions seem to place keyframes on the stage (page) at the same x,y,z location every time. So they aren't really much use if you want to create a simple walk cycle and then replicate it many t...

Moving multiple instances of boned figures around stage
In Flash it is possible to select multple keyframes in the timeline of a given 'object' or 'objects' and then, providing you have certain onion-skinning features turned on, you are able to move all instances on the stage together at the same time. For instance, this is particularly useful when devel...

You can only have one soundtrack per moho project. But you can have multiple characters lipsynching. What you need to do is: 1. create one soundtrack for the entire project (merge your soundtracks together in an audio editor if you currently have them as separate files) 2. create a lip-sync .dat (sw...

I too have recently (well, the past few months) started using Moho to create a set of cartoons for TV for 'The Wiggles' (the 4 Aussie guys in coloured turtle-neck shirts). I produced a series of 13 cartoons last year using Flash and it was an absolutely horrible experience. I am now working on a sec...

Thanks for the response. This one had me stumped - now that you've explained it - it seems obvious!
