A bit of a newbie question.. I know I'm doing something stupid at the moment, but I can't fathom what it is. :) I've half-made a character model with bones.. I've used the same hand switch layer on two other characters with no problems (the layer is bound to the wrist bone). But when I rotate the ha...
I'm still getting the problem, and the patch doesn't seem to have made any difference here. I haven't been doing any rendering at all in this session for example, just editing.. Idling at 80-100% at the moment. It's at least reassuring to see it's not just dual cpu or g5 macs though.. If it does it ...
I have the same thing on a dual G5 running osX, but it doesn't take 8 hrs to get upto 90+% cpu usage, it does it much quicker than that here. I've seen a couple more osX users mention it here too.. I hope LM can work out why it happens, to begin with it runs incredibly smoothly, which wets the appet...
This sounds crazy, but when I export to SWF in the most recent version, it automatically loads up Adobe Illustrator and tries to load the SWF into that. (and fails) This is on OsX 10.3.8 It may have done it in 5.0.8 too (didn't try) but it certainly didn't before that.. Confusing. It's probably my s...
The first suggestion fixed it, that's great.. The workaround you posted is perfect too, I feel a bit silly for missing that. I'll use that method in future.
I've ran into a little problem using moho, if anyone knows where I'm going wrong, could they offer pointers? :) I have a model where parts (the hands) are going out of focus, I'm not really sure why.. Depth of field is enabled and set to the defaults, but the hand is level on the Z axis to the rest ...
Yup, after leaving it on for prolongued periods it didnt increase much (at all?) in the end.. I think that was caused by me editing things before I left it to sit there. Normally I'm not doing anything that should be alll that cpu intensive, just editing a model. :/ The model is getting quite comple...
It's strange as it was doing it last night and I've not been able to replicate it today.. I'll get back to you if I work out what it is. I was making quite a simple little animation with bones, and lip-syncing - occasionally exporting it as swf to test it.. Perhaps one of the apps I had loaded in th...
It did it in both 5.0.6 and 7.. I have an up to date Panther install on a dual 1.8Ghz G5.. (1GB RAM) moho begins idle at about 2% cpu use, but ultimately jumps to around 90% and above regardless of whether it's in the background and not doing anything.. Is it supposed to do that? Seemed a little bit...
