Hi guys,
I had this project near completion on my hard disc for ages, but for some dubious reason didn't come around to finishing it. So, I finally did, and I'm glad I did. Because it's a very nice song and the story has a beautiful twist at the end.
Enjoy watching and please comment!

How to draw a St. Valentine's Day Card (The Power of Love)
Hi guys, this video is pretty much the counterpoint to my last video (about Charles Dickens's Miss Havisham). While the last video was about what love is not, this one tries to find a positive answer (what love is about). The visuals are maybe not the most impressive. But listen to the song, especia...

How to draw Charles Dickens' Miss Havisham (Frozen in Time)
Hi guys, Happy Valentine's Day! I've just uploaded my latest music video on YouTube. I had rather personal reasons for creating this video. I learnt from a former friend who claimed that she is still 'in love' with a guy she had a one-night-stand with, 20 years ago. That guy is a married man with a ...

How to draw Dean Eagle's Mandy
Hi guys, here my latest video. The title is really a misnomer. It's not really a 'How to do' video but rather more like a jigsaw puzzle. The fun lies in watching something developing in front of your eyes, without knowing what exactly it will be. Only knowing that it will be gorgeous!!! cdpmq...

Re: How to 'go viral'?
The last post pretty much proves my point. In order to get views (and viewers who appreciate your videos) one needs exposure. In order to get exposure, one needs to beat the YouTube logarithm at its own game, i.e. to produce a lot of quickly made content. You might call me a sell-out for saying so. ...

Re: How to 'go viral'?
I guess, I express myself in an unfortunate way. I didn't mean, I want to be popular for popularity’s sake. But I think, it is only natural that after pouring endless hours of work and your heart into your project, one wants to share one's result with the 'world'. Honestly guys, do you think when up...

The control points of the gradient should be connect to the bone
Hi Victor, I noticed that the gradient control points (center point + handle) aren't connected to the designated bone. This brings weird effects when one animates this bone. In other words, while the layer moves, the control points stay stationary in one place. This makes animating character models ...

Re: How to 'go viral'?
Maybe the problem is that I want to achieve two things that are in part contradictory: being authentic (free artistic expression) on one hand and being popular (getting as many viewers as possible) on the other hand.

Thanks for this useful tip. I changed my signature accordingly. Also, you might want to create a signature for the forum, like mine, it might help people, or at least Moho users, to find your channel, just a thought !

Re: How to 'go viral'?
Hi Slowtiger, greetings from Ingolstadt to Berlin! Followers only come when they can expect a decent amount of new "content" in a short time. So this only works if you're able to churn out that stuff very fast. (And who pays the rent in the meantime?) You hit the nail on its head there! - ...

How to 'go viral'?
Hi guys, sorry - I know this question is a non-technical question (in the strict sense of the word). But it's something that burns my hearts for a long while, and we are all artists among fellow-artists here. So I'm very interested to hear (or rather read) your opinions! I started my YouTube channel...

Re: Can a layer follow only one path or several?
Well - I thought about that solution too. But creating a new continuous path, making is follow the intended route and make parts of it invisible, is probable more work than creating copies of the hand and animate its visibility.
BTW - how did you change the colour of the line in each section???

Figure Drawing
Hi guys, here is my attempt to animate an artist's hand drawing some figures on a sheet of paper. It took me more work than I anticipated because Moho's Follow Path Tool allows only one path per layer. That meant, I had to create 45 hands and animate the visibility for each of them. :( The Follow Pa...
