Re: How do I get sharp, smooth animation?
By AA, I mean anti-aliasing, which is the process Moho uses to smooth the edges in a render. Moho's standard AA is ok for most situations, but when I have high-contrast edges or edges with intense saturated colors, it can sometimes render with the 'jaggies'. Using Extra Smooth and choosing a lossle...

Re: How do I get sharp, smooth animation?
Below is a screenshot of a simple animation (mp4) I created in Moho...Why are the edges pixelated like a bitmap? Another take: If the posted image is a screen capture from an .mp4 window, then it actually is a bitmap image and a compressed one at that. This would be true of an .mp4 rendered out of ...

Re: How do I get sharp, smooth animation?
Are you talking about the AA quality of the image? If this is a Preview (ctrl-R) render, try making an actual final quality render using Moho Exporter (recommended) or Export Animation for comparison. In my experience, a Preview render can be a pretty good approximation of a final render but it's o...

How do I get sharp, smooth animation?
Below is a screenshot of a simple animation (mp4) I created in Moho. I created the circle in Moho with the circle tool. Why are the edges pixelated like a bitmap? Also, I've been experimenting and creating the same circle in AI and Affinity Designer, exporting them as svgs and importing into Moho, b...

Re: Issues when using smart warp mesh
ok, so are the results different depending on whether a jpg with a solid background vs a png with no background is used? I would prefer to use a png, but when I move to frame one, the part of the image that I did not draw points around disappear. Are these bugs that I'm encountering are some settin...

Re: Issues when using smart warp mesh
I'm following Victor Paredes Youtube tutorial: How to simple animate an illustration in Moho Pro 13.5.2 using the new live smart warp meshes. I'm using two test files, one with a png and one with a jpeg. I chose Draw --> Create Smart Warp layer. On that new layer on frame 0, I used the Add Point to...

Re: How do I set a new channel for rotation + a few more questions
Ok, I went into Preferences and turned off 'Consolidate Timeline Channels' under Timeline. That solved issues 1 and 2. So now, I have the two separate channels: one for the movement and one for the rotation, but now there is a 'point motion' layer (four tiny squares) added to the timeline but it's n...

How do I set a new channel for rotation + a few more questions
I'm taking the Bloop Moho animation course and I have three issues I need help with. 1. I created a rectangle and set a keyframe for it. The tutorial also wants me to set a keyframe for rotating the rectangle as it moves along. The video shows the instructor take the Transform Layer tool (M) move it...
