Re: Consolidate tools – reduce the need for tool switching

I 100% agree, Joel! The subject also reminded me of this topic where you suggested some good ideas: Recently came across a post by a Toon Boom User trying out Moho. I'm not saying that makes anything this person sais automatically right but it's good to sometimes see things with objective eyes. Here...

Moho 14.4 - "Bake layers" feature for gaming

I posted about this on the Moho discord, but I'll share here as well! For the new 14.4 Side Quest update: are there plans to include a "Bake certain layers into a texture" feature for gtlf export? Toon Boom Harmony Gaming 22 has a feature like the one I'm describing called the Bake Group: ...

Re: Linux support...

Haven't tried this myself yet, but try running Moho in Lutris rather than in Bottles and see what happens. For some reason, a lot of apps that inexplicably fail to run for me in Bottles "just work" in Lutris. I've seen this phenomenon both on Tuxedo OS (which is based on Ubuntu) and Bazzit...

Re: Linux support...

Would using wine or bottle to install moho 14 on linux be worth it ? Has anyone tried ? I don't want my Win 10 machine to become e-waste but it can run moho so if I could set it up on linux I'd be doing the planet a favor. I'm not sure, but since Moho is a GPU-heavy application, your best bet would...

Re: Hello! (Introducing myself)

Nice to meet you! You've been so quiet. The first thing I did was ask of help when I got to the forum. Lol. I was going to immediately start posting, but when I created my account, the website said I had to wait because new accounts needed to be manually approved. I didn't get an email about my acc...

Re: searching for character rigger for 2 characters for marketing videos

Hi lupinedctx, I'd love to talk more about this project with you! It sounds like we're a great fit. I enjoy creating organized, animator-friendly rigs that are simple to use, while allowing for expressive, friendly, and emotive characters. My latest project involved designing, rigging, and animating...

Re: My wish for Moho in 2024 – Concentrate on Timeline/Workflow improvements

I'm sorry to bump an old thread, but I wanted to chime in and say these are wonderful suggestions shared throughout this thread. I'd be very happy to see a tight focus on polishing and modernizing existing features in the next version of Moho. I would like to see an easy way to consolidate/un-consol...

Hello! (Introducing myself)

Hi! I'm Landon, a freelance artist and animator. I figured it'd be polite to introduce myself. :D I've been lurking on this forum a while since I starting using Moho Pro. The discussions and plugins shared here have been a huge help in figuring out the software, so thank you all! Nice to meet you :)
