Toonboom vs AnimeStudio
I did a comparison "article" of Toonboom, Moho and Flash about 4-5 years ago, but took it off my site because it was a bit dated, using Toonboom version 2 as the basis for the comparison. The more I used each, the more I was convinced that Moho (AnimeStudio) was the better choice. If you p...

3D in Moho
My vote of yes is to encourage LM to include features to more easily bring in 3D models and textures from other apps; 3DS Max in particular. I like the idea of using 3D models in my animations. But I agree with the consensus that creating 3D models should be left to other apps. I've just been frustr...

How do I hide the region display?
I hope that I am using the correct nomenclature.
When animating bones, the translucent pink and blue regions appear around each bone. I find them useful when setting up bones, but a big distraction when animating. Is there a way to turn them off?
thanks

Vector drawing disappears when selecting bone layer
Ever since version 5 came out I have an issue where I Create a drawing on a vector layer Create a new bone layer and drag the vector layer into it Select the bone layer to add bones; but the image on the vector layer disappears. That is, the layer is still there but the image is not visible so long ...

Flash vs Moho
I hope it didn't sound like I was bashing Flash, or that an individual could not create something of quality using Flash. Clearly this is not the case. And you're right, its the user rather than the program that determines the quality of the final animation because these programs don't create the an...

FlashMX to Moho
A long time ago, Flash started out as an animation program. If memory serves it was called FutureSplash. It wasn't until it was bought by Macromedia and went through a few versions that it changed purposes. Flash was originally intended for animation, but they focused so much on the other features i...

Lack of solid background
The ability to move the various windows around and hide/show them is terrific. I'm not so hip on the lack of a solid background for Moho though. I can see right through to my desktop or whatever other apps I have open. It makes for a visually cluttered space. Perhaps others enjoy this, but I would l...

FlashMX to Moho
You are really going to enjoy learning the animation features that Moho has to offer over Flash. Moho is everything that I had hoped Flash would become and more.
