Holy crap!
Funny I haven't seen that before. Still, I agree with Rasheed that editing the file in a text editor is a good option . I also tend to use it a lot when replacing source images.
I'm looking foreward to see that AS file format description.

Aligning layers in 3d space
I had to figure out a method of aligning layers in 3d space, so that they appeared on the exact same z value.
Opening the .moho-file in a text-editor and manually copy and paste the desired value worked just fine.

(Z value highlighted in blue).

I haven't familiarized all that much with the masking capabilities of Moho/ASP. However, I feel the program's strength is in animation rather than compositing, so I leave the latter to decicated compositing programs like After Effects or Shake. This means that while animating, layers overlap in all ...

The scene I am working on requires panning and zooming over large distances. Good old-fashioned multiplane effect, using transparency to blend the layers nicely together. The final composition is made in moho's 3d space, not in Photoshop. Basicly, the layers are first roughly set up in moho. Then th...

One image of 12000 x 1920 pixels took 6 minutes 40 seconds to save for web on a 2.1Ghz Dual Core 2, 2GB RAM and a pretty decent gfx-card. No wonder my 15-layer-composition went crazy. Does the Gimp have a similar Export to Moho script available? This is quite an issue when working on large scale pro...

Slow export of large PNG images in Photoshop
Exporting large (12000 px wide) PNG-files with Photoshop's "Save for Web" is takes forever. A message window in PS also point out that the feature is not made for such large images. But I have found no other way to export PNG's with an alpha channel. Normal Save As... + PNG greys out alpha...

Reset image layers to default binding
I've been using the bind layer tool with region binding to bind an image layer to a bone. Then I wanted a new, second bone to affect the layer, but the bind layer tool only seem to work with one bone at the time. I did a test from scratch with the default settings and then it worked fine. But when I...

Position Control Bone - Across separate skeleton-layers
I have two characters in separate skeleton-layers. One character is supposed to carry the other one in his arms. So I want to transfer the translation of the first character's pelvis-bone to the other. Apparently there is no way to make constraints across separated bone-layers (or sub bone-layers). ...
