interesting discussion... I have a friend who is a production coordinator for an animation house that produces a very popular tv show in FLASH. I thought he would go ape about moho...but no go. Animating in flash is brutal! I personally cant believe people take the time to make it jump through hoops...

key command for keyframe insert?
Is there a keyboard shortcut to insert a keyframe on the timeline.? I love the fact that moho captures mouse movements of bones in realtime...except that you have to let go of the mouse button to insert a keyframe. It would be awsome of it was possible to hit a key to insert a keyframe while you are...

Thats very helpful thanks....... so a copy is independant of the original action and will not be updated if the action is modified...whereas a reference maintains its link to the action. Is it possible to change a reference into a copy once its on the timeline? That is to say...break its link to the...

ok ok ok! I get it actions are associated with changes in a bone layer or a vector layer. It sort of like switch layers only simpler to use Why dont they just say that in the reference? brilliant! I love it IS there any way to identify what action a node in the timeline represents? It would be nice ...

using bones in switchlayers
How do bones work in switch layers? What I would like to do and what would be the most useful is to to able to use bones to set poses for the same drawing...then switch between poses. Is there another function that lets me do that ? or are switch layers the way to go? But it seems that switch layers...

this has nothing to do with flash Flash sucks for animation. I love the bones , I love the features. But I can't understand throwing in cool things like bone dynamics when the most basic features have not even been adressed yet! The drawing tool in moho is really awkward at best. Tangents for drawin...

I love this program! I want to use this program! But there are few simple features that are essential to a practical workflow. Please consider these few things!!!!!! The bezier drawing tool needs more control. Points with handles PLEASE! Scenes. Please add the ability to compose MULTIPLE scenes in a...

illustrator import painfully slow
When I try to import illustrator art...it takes forever
and even simple shapes end up having hundreds of points.
Is there a more efficient way to bring in illustrator artwork
that retains the simplicity and point structure of the original art?

I found the same problems working in 10.3 on a 1ghz G4 Moho is unbearably sluggish...it doesnt surprize me that its no better on the G5. Its not the machine...its the code. The previous version of Moho was much faster on my system. All the menus and especially the drawing tools were much more respons...

curious omission?
The most puzzling thing is the lack of any control tangents in the graph editor???? You have all these very cool half backed features like bone dynamics and still no real control over basic animation! It makes no sense. There really needs to be some fundamental control in the graph editor to do any ...

well I'm glad I'm not the only one! 4.6 was a breath of fresh air...clean...minimal and efficient...brilliant really!!!! With all due respect...... The 5 interface is a mess and a step backwards. THe single window in 4 was brilliant...alot of interface design is moving towards simplicity because it ...

controlling bone strenghth
I guess the question(to be even more specific) is.... is it possible to control bone strenghth for a specific point? THat is to say.....is it possible to assign a variable weight(eg..1-100) to a specific point or set of points (for a given bone)which determines how much influence that bone has on th...

bones and their influence (weights)
It seems as if the influence of a bone is either 0% or 100% on any points that are assigned to that particular bone. Is there a way to control the influence of a bone(so a point has 50% weight for eg...in which case it would only move half the distance of a point that had a 100% weight). This is ext...
