Seems to me the only things you truly need are a pencil, paper and possibly some inks if you want to draw by hand.
If you want to do everything in the computer I would suggest a WACOM Tablet or a WACOM Cintiq and a program like Manga Studio or Photoshop.

Would it be OK if we debated Political Correctness in another forum? Yeah, how the heck did this turn to a political debate within the first few posts? Get over yourself human, this isn't the place. Gnaws, the animation looks good. I think he's a bit static while talking, but the lip-sync and all l...

I (like a lot of others in here) started off doing characters in Illustrator, then imported them into AS because I was more comfortable w/ the Illustrator tools since I had been using them for years. ...

Any wacom tablet will do, personally I prefer the A5 size, too. For bitmap animation I use my Cintiq. I wish I had the money for a Cintiq. It would make traditional animation much easier in apps like Flash. As for the original question, the only way to go is WACOM. All the others are trash in compa...

If not, try running around the garden some more and see if that helps. Good luck. This is the best suggestion so far. :) I don't have a garden though, so ...

Yeah, probably no one mentioned it before because I already stated in the first post that it was something I didn't have time to fix. I share your opinion about it. Ah, didn't even read the first post, I just clicked on the link to the animation. :) I've seen your other stuff and didn't even bother...
