Uh oh... All of the animations in the gallery have the same problem. Doesn't appear to be a Moho problem, just a problem with however those SWF's were prepared.

Great news! Not only have all of the problems I mentioned above been sorted out for the next update of Moho, but a method of simulating multi-texturing will come along with it. That update is expected sometime next week! :D Here's an animation of a landscape object I constructed using the method des...

Now, having created my own landscape object, I'm seeing some problems with it in Moho. :? The system that makes lines along edges seems to be causing various polygons to disappear. I'm also seeing major problems with the way the texture is spread across the landscape, with strange effects between wh...

Here's a simple way to make a lumpy terrain in Wings3D, without even needing the UV mapper. I'm using the last stable version (0.98.22c) but this should work with ANY version from the past year or two. NOTE: You will see a different context menu in Wings3D whether you right click on an object, or on...

Now that's a dangerous area Oh yeah, I forgot about that. What a load of old cobblers! If only I'd taken out a patent on absurd lawsuits. One other suggestion that might be do-able in the nearer future: Palette snapping --so that as you move or resize a palette, it snaps into place alongside ...

Moho should be storing and recalling the window positions from when you last ran it... For the most part it does, but on my dual-display system I find that the timeline--which I've placed on the secondary monitor--is always restored to the primary monitor. It seems to be placed at a default positio...

Flash is a vector-based program, so some of Moho's effects which work great exported to video, simply can't be reproduced in Flash. That leaves you with two options: either try to make your own explosions, etc. using vector drawings, or export to video and make an SWF to play your video.

Here's an idea--not quite what you're looking for, but...
Suppose you render your 3D toon as video. You could then place that in Moho and use bones to create squash and stretch. If you can render your video in layers, then you'd have even more control.

I prefer Spasmodic's idea: Use a special handle at the top of the timeline that you can click and drag. It's more consistent and intuitive than relying on seperate hotkeys.

The new links don't seem to work. But the angelfire links do work if you copy and paste them into your browser's address bar.

I see the Flash version fine, except the text doesn't appear correctly (all but the first character) and the Loony Tunes thing at the beginning is missing as well.

You could do a project like the one I did, the way I did it: By taking snapshots of the 3D stuff from the 3D application, and just inserting them as image backgrounds. With a little masking, you can even make certain objects appear to be in the foreground, or have characters partly visible through a...
