Hey! I use AS PRO 8 for PC.
But when I move an object, animate an object, move a bone, export, click to render and EVERY thing in between, every little things seems to load slowly and/or lag. I know it's not my laptop because it's brand new and when I play the final exported video it loads fine and everything sounds and looks great.
A lot of the time when it lags a LOT the program crashes and makes my computer frozen for a few minutes.
(NOTE: I'm not sure if I have this in the wrong section, but I'm new here and don't really know exactly where to put everything. (: )
Anyway, is there any REASON why it does this? Can I reduce it? Is this a known bug? Will it soon be fixed? Do you guys experience this?
Thanks!

Size File
It really depends. It all seems to be slow. I have a few files that are 35.7 MB, 33.5 KB, 1.74 MB, 1.24 MB, 1.38 MB, and 2.03 MB.
All are slow, but bigger files crash A LOT. The only reason the huge file out of those is so huge is because I have only 1 3D item instead of all 2D.

When you say 3d I'm assuming you mean such as Poser imports -- sorry but I don't really know enough about that to comment on that aspect.
However, viewtopic.php?t=20475 and viewtopic.php?t=19746 have some advice on file size.
depends on what you're animation is doing - but here's a thought on baking viewtopic.php?t=18732&highlight=baking (that's looking at physics - but you could maybe also think about it for backgrounds that don't need 'motion')
