tree prop causing crashing/lagging
So I made a tree in anime studio by creating a leaf and then copying and pasting that leaf approximately 900 times and put the whole thing in one group layer. When that tree layer is visible anime studio barely works and crashes very often even in very low quality. However, as soon as I click the eye to hide the tree anime studio works perfectly. I really want this tree in my video though and I'm not sure if this is a bug or it's just something anime studio can't handle. Is there any tricks or alternate ways to do this? I need help.
Thanks in advance to anyone that helps ^_^

Hey kasinda123,
I'm pretty sure Anime Studio can sometimes get overloaded by too much all at once, particularly on machines without lots and lots of RAM. An alternative to your current strategy is to use a particle layer to repeat the item over and over. You can define what it looks like through the settings.
Or, you could make a simpler tree that hints at a lot of leaves without showing them all individually. That's not an unreasonable thing to do.
Good luck!

you could also export your tree as a flat PNG with transparency and re-import it - it will the be treated as a single object and won't cause the memory issues.

Thanks. I'm not too familiar with particles but I bet I can figure it out, good idea
My computer has almost no RAM so that explains...
For the other answer, I can't convert anything into images because after I close out anime studio and open it again all my images are always turned into a ripped in half piece of paper with a circle, square and a triangle on it :/ (is there any way to avoid this?)
Thanks

hmm just sounds like its losing the relationship to the image file - put the image file in the same folder as the anme file. You could also use the 'gather media' function when saving. I don't use images all that much so might not be the best person to advise you but that is almost certainly the issue.
