import poser obj

Whenever I export a poser 9 obj and try to import it into anime studio pro 9 the obj is completely black.

how do I fix it so the obj is right when I import it?

I think the issue is that you're only importing the mesh and not the texture map. I don't use poser, so I'm not certain how it works, but I think you're supposed to import a file with the PP2 extension. When you go to save your character in poser, try a save as option or try to use an export option and see if you can save it as a PROP or a file with the extension PP2. Then import that file and see what happens.

According to what the poser website says, the PP2 format contains the mesh AND the texture which is what you're probably looking for.
