Flippin bones!

Post by DeCay »

New file.
Import Dragon, select Dragon top (bone) layer, situation as in first image n frame 0.
Move to frame 1, situation as in second image.

The body/bone-structure is flipped but the head/bone-structure is not.

I need to know how that was accomplished, also how to flip the head bones wo flipping the other bones.

Much thanks for any help.

The entire dragon layer is flipped, but also the head bone. That's why it looks as if everything flips but not the head. Technically, the head flipped twice, once with the entire body and then by itself.
The channel below Scale channel shows you that head bone flip keyframe. To flip a bone, you must select it, then a couple buttons to flip the bone on X or Y will appear in the tool options bar, on its right.
