Brush Bug?

Post by Toontoonz »

When saved as .png file a Round shape turns Square in Moho.

I create a round brush in Photoshop and save it as both a .jpeg and .png file.
The .jpeg reproduces the round shape fine.
The .png file of the same round brush in Moho is now a square.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug? I don´t remember this problem prior to version 5.3.

I've made a quick test and not problem to me... are you experimenting it in all your own PNG brushes or it is only a specific brush issue? Hmmm, I don't know, but maybe something strange could occurs with it... BYE!

I made my own brushes in Photoshop and save to the brushes folder in Moho.

Here is another example of the square .png situation.
Two ovals in Photoshop. When save as .jpeg file no problems.
When save as a .png file - the ovals turn to squares.

The background in the PNG file definitely has to be white. If you use transparent, this transparency turns into black when used in a Moho brush. It would explain why the original circles become squares in Moho and the original ovals become rectangles.

If you could upload the actual PNG file in question, instead of pictures of brush strokes, that would make it easier to figure out.
