HOW DO I LIGHTEN SCENES FOR EXPORT?

Post by amoksei »

I'm a beginner in ASP 11 with basic anime skills. i have some really heavy scenes (which are still AS files) that make my PC lag a lot(until I'm unable to animate properly). rendering takes too long (2 days) . i want to render them to make a 3 minute video clip. Increasing render cache memory has helped but not much. my PC is a 5th gen i5 2200GHz with 8GB ram 2GB video card. how do i lighten the scenes? is there a special way to sequence them for animation? is there a special way to import/export (compile) scenes for animation and or rendering? is there a way to set an end frame for scenes so that they do not run all the way through the entire animation, ie it ends at a particular frame(?)

Yes, you don't have to render the whole animation
When you click export, change the start frame and end frame.

If you were using the draw/blob draw functions heavily (outlines, hair, stars, etc) with a lot of points, you are going to want to reduce the vertices on as many of the objects as possible to speed up rendering, as the excess assets are needlessly eating up resources.

You can use the Scripts>Simply Curve script or the point reduction tool to accomplish this. These tools arent perfect so you may need to do some light manual editing to fix them.
