Hello,
I'm searching a way to change the order of characters within the animation.
There are some examples for the Pro version but maybe i did not looked enough but i did not saw one for the Debut version.
Can someone help me out?
thanks

Animated Layer Order. For this, all characters must be in a folder (use a bone layer for this). Layer tab - Depth sort - enable animated layer order. Change a layer's position in the stack, this creates a key in the folder timeline.

Yes, exactly what SlowTiger wrote.
Alternatively, don't forget that your groups and layers exist in 3D space, and you can simply push them forward or backward in z-space as needed. This is especially useful if you wish to smoothly introduce real depth to your animations. (As opposed to faking it by keyframing the Scale channel.)
