Sliders to control switch layers

Post by erik »

I use switch layers to simulate 3D. When I need a character to turn it's head, I make 3 verctor layers:
1- face turned to the right
2- face turned to the front
3- face turned to the left
When I drop these layers in a switch layer, and I turn on 'interpolate sub-layers' I can easily animate my character turning it's head.
I set up different hand positions and a bunch of other stuff in the same way.

It would be wonderfull to controll the switch layer with a slider during animation. You know: turning the head a bit more to the left, sliding the slider to the left.

In fact, it would be nice if bones could be manipulated with sliders as well. I allready created some sort of slider system, using control bones (bone 1 being the slider outside of the frame, controlling bone 2 wich is inside the character). Heck, why not manipulate everything with sliders?!
