Serious learning of skeletal dynamics at 14.3 [slowing down

Post by sang820 »

 My model became very laggy (even crashing after repeatedly dragging the timeline pointer), and after ruling out some possibilities, I found that disabling the dynamics attached to the bones made the model operation smoother. So perhaps after the animation production is completed, turn on the dynamic switch during the rendering stage to avoid slowing down the adjustment of a large number of real-time dynamic parameters during the animation process.

Try this: bake the bones and then disable dynamics.

Mult Rush has a script for baking bone dynamics here: MR Bake Bone Dynamics

This workflow is similar to how I work with dynamics in 3D animation packages. Once I have the sim, I just bake it and turn off dynamics. There's little reason to continue processing dynamics once it gives you a good solution. Also, by baking the keyframes, you can edit them if you wish, and make them exactly what you need.

Hope this helps.

 Good idea, I have turned off the dynamics now. After tuning all the animations, I will turn on the dynamics again and render the final animation.
