Sync or parent layers

Hello, just wondering if there is any way to sync or parent one layer to another so that the child layer inherits the position, etc and all keyframes of the parent layer.

I thought I could copy/paste layer translation keyframes between layers but nothing happens when I try to paste them into the second layer

Basically I've got an imported image that has layer translation, rotation and scaling animation and I want to add a vector shadow to it and have the shadow follow the main image.

If there were a sync or parent option, any changes to the parent layer would be carried over to the children layers. That would be really handy. Kinda like AE has for parenting layers.

AFAIK copying keyframes only works between layers of the same kind. If you put your image into a group/bone layer and move that, you should be able to copy these keyframes to another group/bone layer which holds the shadow vector layer.

FWIW - had a play with this 14.4 -- I can copy / paste layer translation, rotation (xyz) and scale keys between vector, image and group without problem.

Make sure you click in the timeline after changing to the layer you want to paste to, so Moho knows what you're trying to do.

Yes, it would work with a group. This is a case of having done the animation on the character/object and then realising I needed a shadow

But it applies to a lot of other situations as well, that's why I was hoping I could somehow sync layers.
