invisible style fill effect keys?

Somehow, I have saved named styles with a shadow effect that has invisible keys on the shadow effect, the offset value and the color change over time but there are NO visible keys with either the shape selected or the named style selected. This is probably something i did I have no issue with it, but... I can't see any keys I can't delete the keys. I can see the offset and the color changing over time with renders and in the preview but for the life of me that are NO keys anywhere. Not on the shape, not with the style selected. I have tried delete all keys from the layer, deleting all the animation; they are still there. The shadow style slowly gets smaller and lighter (I was editing and may have accidentally been on a key frame. Usually this is not a problem, you just copy to frame 0 and delete the keys in the timeline.

Any ideas would be helpful. I could simply recreate the two styles from scratch, but I need to know how this happened and also it's kind of a crazy convoluted shape layering I have that makes it tricky to recreate. I would prefer to find the keys where ever they might be hidding. It is so odd.

I tested a shape with the saved style, I copied the style in the style editor. I removed the applied style from the shape and PASTED the saved style directly on the shape. THE KEYS SHOWED UP!!!!!
So... why can't I see the keys of the saved style? They should be there right? is there something in the prefs I need to turn on? A switch?

Yeah, you found THE method to handling effect keyframes on saved styles. I don't know why.
