3d-textures always gone after reopening saved 3d-Models

Post by Freeline »

When I successfully import 3d-models and save this anme-file, the information of the Texture is alwasy lost if I close the File and reopen it, thought all Data-Files are shown in the Layers. First i thought especially my 3D_models do not work, but i also have this problem, when i use the 3D-Models, which are Library-Content of ASP. So when i reopen I see the white 3D-Modells, also the Animation, but i have always to reload each Model/texture again. So this is possible (and Time-costing), but Im sure this is not the way it was meant to be.

I've tryed to reproduce the error and I can't. I'm using AS for linux beta version. I've opoened a 3D animal that is provided with the program, save the anme file in other directory, close the anme file, ad reopen it again. No problem with the 3D object texture.
I think must be something missing...

Have you tried saving the MTL material file and the OBJ file in the same directory?
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

Yes, I did. The problem is not, thats it never works. It just works before closing and reopening. If it was a problem of order, I think it wouldt have worked the first time. And as i mentioned also the 3D-Content in the ASP-Library do not work this way.

I found the problem. Its not just that u have to put mtl and obj-file in the same directory, as we already know. The solution is that u also have to put these 3d-Files in the same directory as the anme-file. I always had separate folders for 3d-content and anme-files. And excuse some bad english, im german. In the post above i meant folder instead of order :)
