...see points while boning

Post by funksmaname »

when i go to a bone layer its underlying layers points dissapear - making it quite difficult to place bones precisely - is there any way of seeing these points?

also onion-skinning should be improved BIG TIME - its impossible to use when you ahve loads of shapes - it should render a transparent colour render, not show all the lines in 1 colour :S

I shold put this in my top 10 feature requests. :P

I definitely think 'boning' should be right up there...
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

Regarding to points that dissapear when you select the bone layer you can avoid this just clicking into "Current layer" menu (on the left of the grid options of the main window (at the bottom middle)) and checking on the "Construction curves" visibility for that particular layer. Be sure that Construction curves is "checked on " in the Display Properties window if not it would override the "Current layer" setting.
You can do it also for the whole project selecting the option "Wireframe" in the "Display Options" menu, but then it will do for all the layers and, maybe, you don't want to have a mess of lines.
I use it several times because I rig before add the shapes.

I agree with onionskins issue.
